Plaster sculpture of Medusa

A vintage plaster sculpture of Medusa, late 20th century. In Greek mythology Medusa is a monster, the daughter of the sea god Phorcys and the sea monster Ceto, and the best known of the three Gorgons.

The sculpture has a beautiful weathered patina. A small piece of a snake on the right side has broken off (see photos), but it does not detract from the piece.
